Zoom | January 11 – March 1 | 7:30 pm Eastern
Self-help is a lucrative industry ($52 billion/yr worldwide in 2026), because an aspiration for personal growth spans across time in all human cultures. Conversion to earliest Christianity involved a vision of transformation lived out in close-knit, supportive communities with features favored by coaches and trainers 20 centuries later. Starting with Romans 12, this course will explore the theology, spirituality, psychology, and neuroscience of life change throughout the early Christian communities whose lives were met by the New Testament writings – all to inform 21st-century Christian discipleship.
The 8 sessions will occur on January 11, 18, 25, February 1, 8, 15, 22, and March 1. After attending all eight sessions and completing a survey, participants will receive a Statement of Participation.
You only need to register one time in order to attend all 8 sessions.
**Current students, staff, and faculty can register for free by emailing us.
Registration closes January 10, 2027.
